Karonkka Dinner at Botta – A Dignified Setting for an Academic Celebration

The day of the doctoral defence is the culmination of years of research, and it deserves a worthy conclusion. In the historical Ostrobotnia building, academic achievements have been celebrated since 1912 – no venue is a more natural choice for a post-doctoral dinner (known in Finland as karonkka) than Botta.

We organise a festive dinner where traditions and excellent cuisine meet. Our staff is well-versed in academic etiquette and the flow of a traditional karonkka. You can trust that the event will proceed with dignity, allowing you to focus on enjoying your achievement with your distinguished guests.
